Brighton A windswept afternoon in Brighton. Visit to the marina and dinner at Benny & Jerry's. Service was actually quite good but Emily was having none of it.....

Spring 2004 Visit to the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch light railway. In the garden. Botley Manor farm - the pig race was fun.

Summer 2004 Nanny and Grandad took Emily on several day trips to Godstone Farm and Broadstairs. Elaine and Martin's anniversary party was a boozy affair! Matthew was apparently still recovering several days later after being tempted into some serious whiskey drinking.

France 2004 Holiday at Granma's and Granpops house in France, near Bordeaux. Nanny and Grandad visited. Lots of trips out; Bordeaux on the train, stayed on the boat (it rained!!), lakes and rivers. Afternoon with Anne and Eric at their house down the road. Swimming in the pool with Mum. Great holiday.

September 2004 Emily's 2nd birthday. Party at home. Emily's presents include a Wendy House that was built by Dad and Grandad. Lara and Thomas visited and they went to the farm together with Mum and Emily.

Christmas 2004 Emily gets stuck into her presents having worked out what it's all about. Toys, carrots, port and more toys! Christmas day is spent at Nanny and Grandads - much cheer and song. Mummy wears a silly hat.
